We are looking forward to having you join us for the 47th Annual Elgin Valley Fox Trot 10 Mile & 5K race on June 2, 2024. 

The 2024 Fox Trot will be an "in-person" event. The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, vendors, community, and team members remains our top priority. 

Please join us for this great community event which will showcase the best of Elgin, as the challenging 10 Mile course brings you through the historic northside of Elgin, along the beautiful Fox River, and through the campus of Judson University. 

Our post-race party, immediately after the race in the Fox Trot Hospitality Zone will be a blast! Join us for music, dancing, awards, food, and beverages (including beer).           

SNEAKER/RUNNING SHOE RECYCLING   

Runners are encouraged to bring used sneakers to the event for recycling: The proceeds support our local youth running groups.

On race day, please bring your USED SNEAKERS (in pairs only) to the CHASE BANK tent in the race Hospitality Zone. (Please no dress shoes, heels, rain boots, sandals, slip-ons, water socks, wedges, and work boots of any kind.)
